A respected long-term care and assisted living community in Manchester, NH is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to join its leadership team. Working closely alongside the Director of Nursing, the ADON will play a key role in clinical leadership, staff development, infection prevention, and maintaining exceptional resident care standards.

Salary range: $94,000–$97,000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing with oversight of daily nursing operations
Support coordination of nursing services and interdisciplinary resident care
Lead and coordinate staff development, education, orientation, and training initiatives
Oversee and maintain the Infection Prevention and Infection Control program
Help ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
Provide staffing support as needed to maintain quality resident care
Participate in shared on-call responsibilities with nursing leadership
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on compassionate resident care
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Prior supervisory or nursing leadership experience required
Long-term care experience strongly preferred
Infection Prevention certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
Experience with staff education and development preferred
CPR/BCLS and IV certification required
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing team
